Bachelor and Master Level Internships
As a Master’s Level Intern for both, Social work and Professional Counseling, you will get hands on learning opportunities to help prepare you for this field. Our interns are able to:
- Provide individual, family, and group sessions under clinical supervision
- Participate in case consultations, treatment team meetings, and multidisciplinary collaboration.
- Learn and implement evidence-based treatment interventions including trauma-informed care and cognitive behavioral approaches.
- Collaborate with schools, caregivers, referral sources, community agencies, and healthcare providers to coordinate care.
- Assist with crisis intervention and safety planning under supervisor direction.
- Complete university learning objectives and internship competencies.
- Attend agency trainings, professional development workshops, and continuing education opportunities.
- Demonstrate cultural humility, professionalism, ethical decision-making, and person-centered care in all clinical interactions.

- Assist with community outreach initiatives and mental health awareness campaigns.
- Support internal teams employee engagement, wellness, and recognition programs
- Develop educational materials, flyers, newsletters, and social media content promoting behavioral health awareness.
- Support program evaluation, data collection, reporting, and continuous quality improvement initiatives.
- Conduct research on behavioral health trends, community resources, grants, and evidence-based practices.
- Assist with event planning, training coordination, and professional development activities.
